She had been raised in a world of privilege, and while she often desperately pushed that life of entitlement away she, throughout the series, referred to it as, “my world.” Lorelai was a strong woman, full of energy fueled by coffee, and fast-talking like her life depended on it. However, when it comes down to identifying the perfect mate for the queen of Stars Hollow, I don’t think that it was Luke. Luke was a family man, full of honor, and always willing to reluctantly play a role in the town’s odd events. He was often the moral compass of Stars Hollow, the only person who wasn’t just a little wacky in a town full of eccentric citizens. I want to start by making it clear that I adore Luke Danes. Lorelai’s love life was a constant battle between just two men Luke Danes, diner owner turned fiancé, and Christopher Hayden, lifelong sweetheart, and Rory’s father. I’m not talking about Max, because really there was no point, even though the (ten) thousand yellow daisies was a lovely proposal. Rory’s mother, Lorelai, also found herself torn between two lovers.

While Rory’s true love is a debate that has been argued for over a decade, with no end in sight, there’s another love triangle that existed on the long-running WB/CW hit that doesn’t garner nearly the same level of passionate argument.

When it comes to ‘Ship Wars and Gilmore Girls, it’s a debate that usually revolves solely around Rory Gilmore, and her “Big Three” Dean, Jess, and Logan.
